Tonefald

TONEFALD is a sonic performance for tone generators and musical saw. For years, the two artists Sandra Boss and Jonas Olesen have collected old tone generators. They were used as some of the first instruments to create electronic music.
In their performance TONEFALD, Olesen og Boss explore the full sonic potential of the basic sound curves that these machines produce, and let them unfold in surprising directions, amongst other in the meeting with the vibrato-song of musical saw.
